Many customers who come to Anthony’s Restaurant here in Bridgeport, PA are surprised to learn that our restaurant was originally built in 1895 and was open during the Prohibition era. We started out as Friendship Grille and then became Anthony’s Tavern on July 17th, 1998. As of January 2008 Anthony’s Restaurant is under new ownership where we continue to serve our savory Italian and American dishes throughout Norristown, King of Prussia and all of Montgomery County.
